Master Craft Carpets

From the very onset of Master Craft Carpet Service, our primary objective has been and continues to be service excellence. The challenge has been accomplished by employing highly trained, certified installers and supporting our Customers with the most professional Project Managers and Administrative support personnel in our market.  Master Craft is a 2nd generation, family-owned commercial floor covering business founded by our Chairman, Gene Ulfig in 1974.  As a former journeyman installer, Gene’s passion to provide quality workmanship and service inspired the company’s motto and project mission: “Customer first - at all costs.”  Although retired, Gene is still a major part of Master Craft daily activity today and continues to service clients and support business activities on a daily basis.
The responsibility for quality and enthusiasm for excellence now resides with Gene's  son, Dan Ulfig.  Dan brought positive change to Master Craft in 1985.  He expanded Master Craft’s mission as a "labor only" company to a full service commercial flooring contractor.  Dan recognized that customers could purchase floor covering products anywhere, but the quality of installation was the crucial variable for their decision to select a contractor.  Clearly, well trained, professional installers was the key to building long-term Customer relationships.  This continues to be the foundation for Master Craft’s success.
